Military & National Security
Second Amendment.
The second amendment clearly states that “the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed.” The use of the phase “shall not” clearly places a limit on the power of the federal government and leaves no room for interpretation. Gun ownership by law abiding citizens is absolutely an individual right of the people. »
Energy Independence.
We need to emphasize self reliance on our country’s natural resources. Given our nation’s greatest resource, our entrepreneurial spirit, it is easy to envision a future where our country's energy, water and mineral needs can be met while balancing the impact on our environment. Crippling our economy by choking off accessible resources within our own borders because of potential problems makes no sense. Allowing American companies to claim our own natural wealth creates jobs for Americans while giving us the stewardship of insuring it is done in a safe and ensuring manner. »

The Government should stimulate and promote small business and individuals by reducing burdensome regulations and excessive taxation. Independent business puts Americans to work and represents the cornerstone of the American economy. »
Environmental Balance.
A balance between preservation of a species and preservation of the economy should always be sought when dealing with environmental issues. Environmental laws and policies should not be allowed to be used as a weapon by one group against another. »
