Learn About Clint Didier

Clint Didier grew up on an irrigated farm located at Eltopia, WA in the Columbia Basin Project. He observed and appreciated the hard work involved in eking out a living on the land.

After graduating from Connell High School, he attended Columbia Basin College in Pasco, WA for two years. At that time, CBC participated in a Jr. College football program. Clint realized at 6’5” and weighing only 165 lbs., he would not meet the physical requirements needed to be a part of the football team. Dedication to the weight room and a weight gain program brought the results he wanted.

Even so, during his early football career, Clint was told many times he was not “good enough” to play professional football. Being goal oriented, Clint never deterred from his dream to make the “pros” .

After obtaining his AA degree at CBC, he finished out his education at Portland State University exiting with a degree in Political Science, Administration of Justice/Corrections.

Portland State’s football program under Coach Mouse Davis featured the “Run and Shoot” Offense. Coach Davis told Clint he was asking him to join the PSU program because he was impressed with the perseverance and dedication he displayed.

Clint was drafted by the Washington Redskins in the 12th Round. This led to a seven-year football career with the Redskins including participation in three Super Bowls. The last two years of his football career were spent with the Green Bay Packers.

After retiring from the NFL in 1990, Clint with his wife, Kristie, and four children -- daughter, Brandie and three sons, Travis, Justin and Zachary -- returned to Eastern Washington and bought their first farm north of Pasco, WA.

Besides the farming operation, Clint also owns and operates an excavation company; committed eight years to coaching in the Connell High School football program; and served eight years on the WA State Farm Service Agency Committee whose mission was to uphold the integrity of the FSA programs.

What others have said:

“ Didier is greatly inspired by Reagan, noting that he lowered taxes, encouraged business, and promoted prosperity. Among contemporary political leaders, those that Didier admires include Sarah Palin and Senator Tom Coburn (R-Oklahoma). Today, he notes, the Tea Party movement and townhall protests have led many individual Americans to become inspired, informed, and involved.”-Steve Beren Read More

“ Over the last eight or so months, I can’t begin to tell you how many times I have heard people say things like, “we need real people in Washington D.C. not just a bunch of lawyers” or “where are the average people that can represent us in government”. Clint is that real person and one we need now more than ever.”- Patty BrooksRead More

“ Clint took the time to give some tips to him on how to properly catch a football. What an exciting and unforgetable moment it was for this young boy to get personal coaching from a man who owns two Super Bowl rings. That, to me, says it all about Clint Didier.”-Tom Forbes Read More

Platform

Clint is not a practiced politician. He believes that our Senators work for us and should be accountable to the people. A Team effort will be required to bring our Government back to its original definition under the Constitution.

Clint’s Platform consists of Three Main Planks

Government Accountability
Military & National Security
Economic Prosperity

Our Government has a responsibility to work for the people, to listen to the people and do what is in the best interest of the people.

All elected officials should be held accountable. They should do what is best for their constituents not what is best for their political careers. Transparency in the process is key.

Our national security should always be a number one concern of any member of our Senate.

Tell your friends, neighbors, and anyone else who will listen that there needs to be major changes in Washington.Learn More about Clint's Platform
